The departure of Carlos Calderon from the ‘Despierta América’ family shocked the public, as the host was crowned one of the favorites thanks to his charisma. For this reason, Telemundo fans were filled with joy to see that the Mexican would join – temporarily – the line of ‘Hoy Día’ presenters.
It is a few weeks after this event that the famous man opens up about his future on television and assures that although his return is not assured, he is in talks to secure a new project.
“I already have some pending conversations there, let’s see if it can be achieved soon (…) The collaboration with Hoy Día was wonderful for me. We were working there for about a month and a half, but the conditions right now were not conducive for me to be formally in the program,” he declared in an interview with Mezcal TV.
However, this does not prevent Carlos Calderón from changing his focus to other horizons and trying his luck in different fields. And during his “break” from the spotlight he has explored his role as a businessman.
“This time I have had has helped me advance some projects that I had as a businessman. You know that I have a house architecture project; We will be supporting the Teotihuacan community in Mexico“, he said.
“So I have dedicated myself to being a businessman and I am returning, pardon the redundancy, to television, which will give me a lot of pleasure, very soon,” he said regarding his future plans.
On a family level, Carlos Calderón is preparing for a Christmas full of magic in the company of his partner, Vanessa Lyon, and their little León: “Now the new year, new life and I hope it brings some nice collaborations, if not fully enter into participate with them,” he highlighted.
