A Halloween party turned into a bloody scene for a shooting that left four people injured, in addition to one more being injured by a knifethis Sunday night in a quiet Azusa neighborhood.
Sheriffs of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) They responded to the area of Banewell Avenue at approximately 10:30 pm after receiving calls about a shooting.
The officers They were questioning neighborsin addition to searching for surveillance videos that could help in the investigations.

According to the LASD, four people suffered gunshot wounds, in addition to one injured by a knife. The injured They were described as young people and were taken to local hospitals.
The ages of the injured youths were not released.
“My cousin was stabbed and I saw what happened, and within 30 seconds I heard gunshots, so I started running,” Christian Méndez, a relative of one of the victims, told the Telemundo network.
Méndez said that his cousin received injuries to the arm and torsoin addition to being hit in the face with metal knuckles.
In the midst of the shooting that broke out at the party site, a neighbor who did not want to be identified said that A man tried to find shelter in the yard of his house.
“I thought I would have to kill someonethat was what was going through my mind, because I didn’t know if it was one of the gunmen,” said the neighbor.

Residents of the area were surprised for the events that occurred during the Halloween party and that ended violently.
“A scare, because it’s quiet here, these problems don’t happen,” they said.
The five injured people are expected to can recover satisfactorily from their injuries.
Authorities said the causes that occurred in the Azusa neighborhood remain under investigationas well as investigations to identify the suspects.
