Liga MX is in a decisive stage. The Águilas del América and Rayados de Monterrey faced each other in a very special match. The action that generated the most controversy during the game was a hard tackle by Jesús Gallardo on Brian Rodríguez. The Águilas del América footballer had to leave the match and wear an orthopedic boot on the left leg. Jonathan dos Santos denounced that this action was not fortuitous.
“He left it like that and told them before the play, that he was going to blow it up, so that later they wouldn’t say that it wasn’t bad temper, Isn’t that bad milk? This is how it will go, this is how it will go for Gallardo,” said the veteran midfielder in statements compiled by the newspaper Récord.
Jonathan dos Santos will be punished
After his statements, The Disciplinary Commission of the Liga MX decided to sanction Jonathan dos Santos. The punishment comes on the basis of article 71 of its regulations. The footballer from the azulcrema team would have stated several threats after the match ended.
“After the reckless statements issued by the Club América player, Jonathan Dos Santos Ramírezin the locker room access area at the end of the match between the Rayados de Monterrey and América clubs, It was determined to financially sanction the player, who violates article 71, paragraph c) and Appendix I of the Public Declarations”reports the statement.
Likewise, in the entity’s statement it is noted that Jonathan dos Santos could receive a more severe sanction if he repeats his behavior. In both cases, the amount of the fine sent to the former Los Angeles Galaxy player is not specified.
