Charles Leclerc explained and regretted the collision with Sergio Pérez: “I couldn't avoid it”

Despite the fact that on social networks numerous Internet users pointed out Charles Leclerc as the main culprit that Sergio Pérez has abandoned the race; however, The Monegasque distanced himself from the accusations regretting the situation and arguing that he did not do it intentionally.

In an interview after the race, the driver who reached the podium after obtaining third place explained how he experienced coke with the local idol of the Formula 1.

“I was between the two Red Bulls, ‘Checo’ tried to pass and I had nowhere to go; It’s not good that it ended like this, but I didn’t do it on purpose.“said the Ferrari driver.

In the end, “Checo” Pérez finished in 20th place, while his teammate, Max Verstappen was the winner, followed by Lewis Hamilton and Leclerc.
