Last Saturday, Ed Sheeran performed in Las Vegas, the city that is home to The Killers. During his performance, the artist incorporated “Mr. Brightside” to the musical repertoire. In an exciting twist, Brandon Flowers joined Sheeran on stage.

In the middle of the concert, Ed Sheeran, dressed as the iconic character Chucky due to the proximity of Halloweenannounced to the audience his desire to invite someone special from Las Vegas.

In his words, the singer expressed: “We are going to perform the song that is practically an anthem in my country.” This is because it was recently announced that “Mr. Brightside” is the most played song in UK history, as reported by NME.

After the unforgettable performance of this Hot Fuss hit, Brandon Flowers remained on stage to collaborate with Sheeran in the performance of “Castle on the Hill”, one of the songs from Ed Sheeran’s own repertoirethis being a moment that was recorded in the memory of the audience present.

The concert in Las Vegas represented the last North American stop on the +–=÷x tour, also known as Mathematics, by Sheeran. Throughout the tour, the singer surprised the public with special guests, including Eminem, Shawn Mendes and other notable artists. It’s worth mentioning that this tour included unusual stops at school recitals, Lego stores and karaoke bars in Nashville. Interestingly, on one of those occasions, Ed Sheeran also sang “Mr. Brightside.”

Ed Sheeran reveals an unpleasant incident on a flight because of a passenger

Last Tuesday, Ed Sheeran had an aerial experience that he will hardly forget. The renowned singer, who was returning to his native England after an extensive tour in the United States, took a commercial flight from Miami to London. During the first few minutes of the flight, the atmosphere was positive, and Sheeran was even friendly with his followers, who asked for photographs. However, the tranquility was disturbed by an individual who unleashed chaos.

The Metropolitan Police reported that, upon landing at Heathrow Airport, they arrested a drunken man who had made insults and threats to both passengers and crew. In particular, he directed racist comments at the flight attendants who refused to serve him more alcohol so early in the trip.

The behavior of the aggressor, who went from interacting with the singer’s fans to uttering obscenities and xenophobic gestures, left everyone present stunned. A witness, Dan Haughindescribed the situation as chaotic and embarrassing.

Disturbance of public order with a racist aggravation is the accusation against the 46-year-old man who was arrested, according to a statement from Scotland Yard. Fortunately, other passengers, including a retired officer, managed to restrain the attacker before the incident escalated further.

The pilot even considered diverting the aircraft to a nearby airport to facilitate the arrest of the individual, given the offensive language he used and the presence of children on the plane. Ed Sheeran has chosen to maintain public silence about this incident, which was surely a distressing experience for everyone involved.
