Unified middleweight champion asks for fight with Canelo Álvarez: “I can knock him out easily”

Janibek Alimkhanuly, unified 160-pound champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF), requested a fight with Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez and He assured that he would knock him out easily.

In a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), Alimkhanuly expressed that he is ready to move up the ranks and fight Canelo Álvarez in February because he wants the four belts in the Mexican’s possession at super middleweight.

Despite Janibek Alimkhanuly’s wish, Canelo Álvarez He already has several opponents on his list who are waiting for their opportunity to get into the ring against the Mexican and the name that resonates the most is that of David Benavídez (mandatory challenger of the Guadalajara starting in March 2024), but Demetrius Andrade, Jermall Charlo and Terence Crawford could also face him on May 5.
