The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced that will send the two planes of the Mexican Air Force to Tel Aviv againwho barely returned from Israel, to remove more Mexicans who requested to leave the conflict zone in the Middle East.
“We already made the decision today that the pilots, the entire team and Tomorrow the two planes leave” he pointed.
The Mexican president pointed out that because there are still many Mexicans who want to leave Israel, around 764, ordered to establish an “air bridge” with European countries to be able to remove the compatriots who are still in Tel Aviv as quickly as possible.
“As there are many people and the conflict is unfortunately escalating, we want to take advantage of the time. We are going to do an airlift, the planes are going to stay there in Europe(we are going to) be taking (the Mexicans) to a nearby country and once they are in that country then we will bring them,” he revealed.
“(The first two groups) have already returned. There are 280. The important thing is that there are about 1,000 left who want to come. A selection was made, preference was given to children, the elderly first, but even young people were left, 287 arrived and we need to bring 764”, he clarified.
It was last Wednesday night that the two planes of the Mexican Air Force They arrived at the Santa Lucía air basein the State of Mexico, from Israel, with 287 Mexicans (135 and 144 respectively).
Seniors, women, children, as well as the Mexican women’s rhythmic gymnastics team traveled on both Mexican army planes.
