Chivas de Guadalajara have lost pace in Liga MX. Their latest results have lowered them in the standings. Criticism has been directed towards Veljko Paunovic and his operationbut with indiscipline after the games the spotlights now point to Alexis Vega, Cristian Calderón and Raúl Martínez.
The statement announcing the separation of the aforementioned players. The Chivas de Guadalajara left these three footballers on the sidelines for a serious case of indiscipline that further complicates the club’s present.
The reports indicate that Alexis Vega, Cristian Calderón and Raúl Martínez were found with women in a room at the concentration hotel where the club was staying after their match with the Diablos Rojos del Toluca. Obviously, this action is not allowed and the institution decided to place them outside the squad.
“The Guadalajara Sports Club reports that Alexis Vega, Cristian Calderón and Raúl Martínez failed to comply with the guidelines established in the internal regulationsso starting today they will be separated from the squad by undefined time. The three players will work at the club with a differentiated program to maintain their physical and football fitness,” says the Chivas de Guadalajara statement.
Alexis Vega and a new disappointment
One of the most questioned footballers is Alexis Vega. The Gru has already been recurring like his extra-sports problems. That promise of Mexican soccer has faded over the years and the fans did not hide their annoyance about the former Toluca player.
Alexis Vega is not going through his best sporting moment. In fact, this episode of indiscipline comes at a complex moment in his career. El Gru would have considered retiring from the fields due to his physical problems that do not allow him to play a game for 90 minutes.
