Zendaya recently used her Instagram account to address growing engagement rumors that surfaced after she shared a photo showing a ring on her finger. The 27-year-old actress, known for her role in “Euphoria,” addressed her fans in a candid video to clear up speculation that had been circulating online.

In the video, Zendaya, laughing, declared: “I can’t publish anything, guys. I shared it because of my hat, not because of the ring on my right finger. Do you really think I would announce important news like that?”

In response to the frenzy that surrounded the image, Zendaya chose to repost the full-body photo that caused all the commotion, putting an end to engagement rumors once and for all. In her caption, she wrote directly: “Let me show the full picture so you can rest easy.”

We don’t feel like we have to be accountable to anyone. “It is our business and is not related to our careers.”

Zendaya shared a similar perspective in the September issue of ELLE magazine, noting: “I recognize that parts of my life will be public. I can’t help but be who I am, live my life and love the person I love. But I also have control over what I choose to share. It’s about protecting the peace and allowing things to be authentic, but also about not being afraid to be yourself. You can not hide. That’s not fun either. “Now I’m navigating it more than ever.”
