President Joe Biden’s campaign to launch third ad targeting Latinoscalled “The Difference”, which makes a contrast between the promises of Republicans and the achievements of Democrats.
“Republicans talk a lot, they make empty promises, but Joe Biden actually delivers for Latinos,” said Maca Casado, Hispanic media director and spokesperson for the Biden-Harris 2024 campaign.
He added that President Biden’s policies help reduce costs for Latino populations, in addition to investing in their communities and businesses.
He criticized that the MAGA Republican agenda only serves and benefits the richest and most powerful, which is why the new advertising message will be broadcast during the new debate between Republican candidates on September 27.
“President Biden’s campaign knows the political power of Latinos and is investing aggressively and earlier than ever to establish its case with Latino voters, because we will not take any vote for granted,” Casado says.
This last expression responds to constant criticism of Democrats about their low effort to reach out to Latino voters, who are “taken for granted” as Democrats, although recent reports indicate a greater inclination towards Republicans.
President Biden’s campaign notes that “The Difference” is part of a $25 million investment from the Biden-Harris Teamto attract the Latino vote.
The message will be broadcast in English and Spanish on television and digitally in key states, including Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin.
This week, President Biden highlighted the importance of Latinos to the United States before the annual gala of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI).
He said that the country needs the values of Hispanics, which “have always represented” the ideal of taking advantage of “opportunities” and “fulfilling dreams.”
