The Red Bull team conducted a test on the Mexican driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez in which he had to answer the name of the different NFL teams.. The native of Guadalajara could only guess one logo of the four they showed him, the Austrian team posted it on their social networks.
They showed him the logos of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders. The only one who guessed the second driver of the Red Bull team was the one from the Atalanta team.
Sergio “Checo” Pérez has shown that he is a lover and faithful follower of the Águilas del América. He has also commented that he watches the azulcrema team’s games every time he can. It is quite rare that a person born in Mexico does not know much about the NFL, because it is a very popular sport in that country.
At this moment the driver from Guadalajara is in second position in the Formula One drivers’ championship with a total of 223 points. and is only surpassed by his teammate.
This video can demonstrate that the team’s relationship with Sergio “Checo” Pérez is very good despite all the comments and criticisms that have arisen in the last Formula One grand prix.
The next stop of the highest category of motorsport will be in Japan. The Red Bull team’s cars start as favorites to win this race, but with what happened in Singapore anything can happen.
Until now, “Checo” Pérez was rectified as a Red Bull driver for the 2024 Formula One campaign, but there are many rumors that he could be changed depending on the results he achieves in the last races of the current campaign.
