This week the program ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’ turned 25 years on the air and to celebrate it they did it at Disneyland in Los Angeles. It was just Thursday Artificial Intelligence Day and it occurred to them to joke about the separation of Shakira and Gerard Piquébut the action upset Internet users.
Through the show’s Instagram account, they published a video in which the hand of reporter Tanya Charry appears with a mobile phone showing a small video of a recreation of the Catalan apologizing to the Barranquilla woman for the mistakes she made.
“Sorry, Shakira. You are the love of my life and I want to ask you to marry…”the artificial intelligence animation of the now businessman can be heard saying in the clip.
After those words Tanya says: “Today in ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’ we are going to make the impossible possible’ in the world of entertainment, but with great care and to have fun, like everything we do here“.
Far from causing fun, many were upset and reacted to the post with comments of rejection about the content of the video.
“I don’t think she likes them experimenting with her personal life, that’s not understanding other people’s pain”; “It’s a mockery for Shakira not to do that, and stop mentioning that guy, get him out of Shakira’s life like she got him out”; “Don’t do those things, out of respect and consideration for Shaki. “Artists also have feelings, leave the topic for your peace of mind.”; “Stop giving so much propaganda to that guy”; “They shouldn’t do that, because it’s not fun when there are CHILDREN IN COMMON…. Respect gentlemen, NOT EVERYTHING IS RAITING…”; “I put myself in this person’s place and I would not like them to use my image for what I have not authorized. “This thing about artificial intelligence, in the hands of less intelligent people, will bring a lot of problems” and “What a lack of respect, having to make news with the suffering of others, because it is better not to publish their lives and leave the artists in peace that there is baseness on your part”have been part of the opinions of the users of the camarita social network.
