Early in the afternoon of this Tuesday, September 12, the Águilas del América team announced through its X account, previously known as Twitter, that its Technical director, André Jardine, underwent successful surgery for acute appendicitis.
“Club América informs that our Technical Director André Jardine underwent successful surgery for acute appendicitis this morning. The recovery time will be according to your evolution.”
Next Saturday, September 16, the Eagles of America will face the Chivas de Guadalajara in what represents the national classic. Today the training session of the azulcrema team was led by Paulo Víctor Rodríguez.
It is unknown if the Brazilian coach will be able to be in the duel on matchday 8 of the Liga Mx opening tournament, because his return to both the field and training depends on how he evolves in the coming days.
Typically, these types of operations take around 5 to 7 days for the person to fully recover from their conditions.
Today was not only bad news for Águilas. In training this morning the players Henry Martín and Néstor Araujo each trained under their personalized training sessions.
