Sergio Ramos, former captain of the Spanish National Team, affirmed that Luis Rubiales has had an unacceptable behavior and he regretted that he was the one who took all the spotlights before the great performance of the women’s team, as reported by the EFE agency.
The new Sevilla player, questioned in his presentation at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán for this matter and for the fact that Jenni Hermoso has ratified her complaint before the Prosecutor’s Office for these events, declared that “It is a very sensitive issue”, in which Rubiales “has had an unacceptable behavior”with which he hopes that “soccer has the representatives it really deserves.”

“I think Rubiales has behaved unacceptably and, as president of the Federation and one of the representatives of Spanish football, I think he was wrong“, indicated Sergio Ramos in statements reviewed by EFE.
The former captain of the national team and of Real Madrid also regretted that “Instead of everyone talking about the Rubiales issue, appearing on the pages of newspapers worldwide, we should once again congratulate the women’s team because their players have been proclaimed world champions”, he stressed.
“It is what everyone should talk about, talk about the fact that they have been champions. My most sincere congratulations, once again, and I hope that Spanish football has the representatives it really deserves”, he pointed out.
