An elderly man was trapped under a bus in the town of El Arenalin Spain, where an exciting act of solidarity took place, since around 40 people came together to rescue an older adult that it had fallen and become trapped under the body of the vehicle.
According to local media, the incident took place during the afternoon of last Monday, when the man tripped while trying to get on the Bilbobúsa bus that runs through the municipality of Bilbao.
Fortunately, eyewitnesses did not hesitate to add their efforts to free the man who was in a critical situation. The event was recorded and shared on social networks, where it quickly went viral due to the impressive show of solidarity it portrayed.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to assess the man, who, surprisingly, he remained conscious at all times. Despite not having suffered any apparent injuries, he was transferred to the Basurto Hospital to rule out possible fractures or internal injuries.
Meanwhile, elements of The Municipal Police arrived at the scene to verify that there were no more injuriesand traffic returned to normal after the exemplary collective action that saved the life of the elderly.
Besides, it was reported that the public transport driver was detained until the fact was clarifiedabove all, because the unit was allegedly parked when the man tried to approach it, but stumbled in the space between the sidewalk and the truck.
This heroic act highlights the importance of solidarity and rapid community response in times of emergency, proving that together we can achieve impressive feats.
