The world of football has had to adjust certain rules to adapt to the current dynamics. Gone are the years when players married a single selection. It is very common to see footballers with up to three nationalities; three options to represent a national team and make a name for yourself in the international arena. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is an example of this. The son of CR7 could represent USA.

The Mexican team, and that of the United States, They are the two Concacaf nations that have taken advantage of it the most. The Mexican Americans have been in a constant fight between both federations to “steal” soccer players from one side and from the other. But the case of CR7’s son is more radical and although it seems unlikely, the possibility is on the table.
