“Oppenheimer” becomes the third highest-grossing film of 2023

Thanks to the recent weekend, “Oppenheimer” ranked as the third highest-grossing film of 2023, surpassing Marvel Studios’ blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” This suggests that the advertising strategy of “Barbenheimer” was a complete successbenefiting both films that opened on the same day, defying expectations that only one of them would be the year’s big winner.

Despite “Barbie” has become the highest-grossing film of 2023, grossing $1.38 billion in theaters around the world., “Oppenheimer” also did well with $850 million in gross. “Barbie” and “Super Mario Bros,” with $1.279 million in gross, rank first and second at this year’s box office.

Thanks to his winnings over the weekend, “oppenheimer” surpassed the mega production of James Gunn, who apparently says goodbye to the Marvel Universe to focus on DC.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” grossed 845 million dollars at the box office and now ranks fourth in the ranking of the most successful films of 2023.
