Despite his interest in playing in Saudi Arabiain the last few hours the possibility has arisen that I signed for a club in the United States: Racing Los Angeles City FC.
Gullit Peña has only been in the United Arab Emirates for a few months. But everything seems to indicate that his time at Al-Dhaid has not been the best. For several weeks the Mexican soccer player has made noise through the media for his search for a new club.
Among Carlos Peña’s options was a club from the lower categories of Spain and his cherished dream of playing in the Saudi Arabian Star League. But a new destiny arises in the path of the Aztec and it is far from being an exotic football.
The Gullit in the United States
According to information from Soccer Total MX, Carlos Peña would be a clear option for Racing Los Angeles City FC. This club is part of the United Premier Soccer Leaguea regional tournament that has been held since 2011.
Carlos Peña’s link with this club is related to his representative morris pagniello. The agent of the Mexican is part of this new project called Racing City Groupa franchise that consists of several clubs around the world, including Racing Houston, Racing Dallas, Racing Sacramento, Racing Murcia and Racing Capri.
In fact, this was the same approach as linked Gullit with Spanish football. Morros Piagnello would be the cornerstone for this transaction to come to fruition given that the Saudi Pro League does not plan to show interest in the Mexican.
Carlos Peña is 33 years old and has a current contract with Al-Dhaid until June 2024. The value of the Aztec token is valued at just over $100,000 dollarsas his career has gone downhill in his last clubs in Central America.
