Hirving “Chucky” Lozano is close to returning to PSV Eindhoven and the Eredivisie after four seasons at Napoli and the coach of the Dutch club, Peter Bosz, expressed nice words to him before his possible signing.

“He really wanted to return to PSV, so I suppose he is very motivated (with the idea of ​​returning). He is still not 100 percent done (the signing). Of course I spoke to Johan Bakayoko about it. As a coach you can only be honest and always say that you need more than eleven players”, added the strategist.

The coach of the Dutch club also commented that Lozano is in the best moment of his career and that returning to the Eredivisie will be of great help to the team.

“He is a very good footballer. He has shown at Napoli and PSV that he knows how to play football well. He is in the prime of his career and has indicated that he wants to return to Eindhoven. So he will be very motivated.”

With PSV, Lozano had his best season with 79 games played, 40 goals and 23 assists in all competitions. In the Netherlands, the Mexican soccer player won an Eredivisie title in the 2017-2018 season.

Chucky Lozano will leave Napoli in Serie A after five years after arriving in 2019 and win the league title last season, although he was on the bench for a long time.

With Napoli, Lozano scored 30 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions. With PSV, the Mexican could recover his rhythm and ownership.

In addition, Hirving Lozano could face Santiago Giménez and Feyenoord for the title of the first division of the Netherlands.

Lozano’s signing is still being worked on at both clubs and has to be announced before 12:00 am this Fridaythe date on which the European pass market closes.
