The “most powerful Raptor in history”, this is how Ford presented to the world the pickup model that it hopes will revolutionize this segment of the automotive market: the F-150 Raptor R 2023.
Said vehicle boasts a powerful power unit that generates up 700 horsepower, in addition to having a set of features that will make this vehicle one of the most interesting models of next year.
Ford’s new “beast” will fit an engine 5.2-liter supercharged V8 capable of producing the 700 hp mentioned above, along with 640 pound-feet of torquewhere the power unit of the Mustang Shelby GT500 has been incorporated to result in this supercharged eight-cylinder block.
Ford claims that it is the Most torquey engine ever for a production truck, showcasing its technology to offer strength and elegance, all in one package.
The supercharger has been recalibrated to optimize power in off-road mode thanks to the addition of a new pulley, increasing torque delivery in low and midrange, with transmission in gearbox up to 10 speed.
The suspension account with five trailing arms in the rear with the aim of maintaining the position in a better way with respect to the axles, when the truck travels on uneven terrain.
Aesthetically it looks robust, pleasing to the naked eye and imposing. The front grill takes center stage after being rectangular in shape and taking part of the sides of the truck, where a strip of orange LED lights stands out.
He window design aligns perfectly between the two doors of the vehicle, blending in perfectly symmetrical shape with the rest of the structure, in addition to highlighting the intense black color of the windows together with the gray of the body.

There are details big and small, from the more aggressive hood air extractor to the Code Orange ‘R’ badging, that visually communicate next-level off-road performance under the Raptor R banner.” Tom Liu, lead designer of the truck.
