After being placed on Administrative Leave, the player will continue to earn days of service and therefore will be able to continue receiving his salary. The MLB may extend the stay of the player on Administrative License with the knowledge of the MLB Players Association.

There is information that the investigations are at a fairly advanced point and that is why there has been great silence on the part of the investigation committee of the Big leagues.

Yesterday, August 21, it was learned that the Dominican player hired the renowned lawyer Jay Reisinger who in the past has represented players like Alex Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, Aroldis Chapman, among others. In cases that were investigated by the MLB.

This week the team Tampa Bay Rays will play at home in a series against the Colorado Rockies and against the New York Yankees. It will be interesting to see what the manta rays manage to do in these matches without one of their most important players and surely with the player who was projected as the face of the franchise for the next few years.

In the 2015 season, Major League Baseball implemented a conduct policy and has since suspended 16 players with suspensions between 15 and 324 games.

The longest suspension has been for former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer with a total of 324 games and it was reduced to 194 games on appeal.
