Glendale police put releases a man suspected of involvement in a mass robbery after arresting and booking him.

Iván Isaac Ramírez, a Los Angeles resident, was arrested on the morning of August 17. for allegedly participating in the “flash mob” type robbery at the Yves Saint Laurent store in the Americana at Brand shopping center.

Ramirez was arrested and booked on suspicion of organized retail robbery, robbery, grand theft and conspiracy.. However, according to Los Angeles County jail records, the suspect was cited and released on the afternoon of Thursday, August 17.

Glendale police identified a second person allegedly involved in the “flash mob” robbery, saying that Brianna Jimenez, 21, of Los Angeles, was wanted in connection with this incident..

According to the authorities, Jiménez was captured on surveillance video when she was taking part in the robbery at the Yves Saint Laurent storeinvolving at least 30 suspects, with more than $300,000 worth of merchandise theft.

It’s a statement, Glendale Police Chief Manny Cid told the community that these brazen break-ins and robberies will not be tolerated.

“This is the first arrest related to this crime and there will be more arrests,” Cid said.

The robbery committed at the Glendale mall remains under investigation by authorities.

American at Brand owners offered a $50,000 reward for the person who provides information that helps in the identification, arrest and conviction of those responsible for the mass robbery.
