For just over two hours, The city of San Fernando was left without power service in its entirety at noon this Monday.
San Fernando officials reported that “the whole city” suffered a power cut during the morning of this Monday, but they confirmed that the electricity service had been restored in the afternoon.

On social media, City officials reported the power outage at approximately 11:30 a.m..
“The entire city of San Fernando is experiencing a power outage. Southern California Edison is working to restore power,” it was posted.
The municipal authorities estimated that the failures could be solved around 1:00 p.m.

Officials assured that traffic lights in the city were already working, although they acknowledged that some may still be blinking as service is fully restored.
They asked residents to drive with caution and treat intersections with failed signal lights as a four-way stop.
