A former NBA employee exposed the league and denounced labor mistreatment as part of the team on social networks after a post from his own Facebook account which went viral on Monday.

In the post the employee talked about the low wages and even that they worked up to 14 hours without a break.

How do I get out of this? I haven’t worked here in weeks. Still, the NBA overextends its social media employees to a great extent to the detriment of their health and social lives. for a salary of less than $50,000 per year after taxes. I worked 14 hour shifts with no breaks at times. Regards, Adam Silver. We don’t get health insurance until 90 days on the job! That’s silly, isn’t it?

I’m glad I quit, there’s no need for a job to get in the way of your happiness. Donate to mental health causes,” the former employee said.

The post lasted 20 minutes on the social network before it was deleted, but it also went viral on social networks and they were exposed.

The NBA has not commented on the post or on the employment situation. According to data from Forbes, the NBA generates more than 10,000 million dollars per season.

The United States remains undefeated in its friendly tour for the FIBA World Cup 2023

Led by an unstoppable Anthony Edwards (34 points), the United States team woke up in time to avoid closing their preparation tour this Sunday for the World Cup in the Philippines, Indonesia and Japan with a loss. His reaction in the last quarter against a powerful Germany team that dominated the scoreboard for much of the game prevented the team coached by Steve Kerr (99-91) from stumbling at the last minute.

The Germans, who came to win by 16 points, had the game under control in the last quarter with a 77-86 lead. Their forces reached that far because the Americans put a couple of gears into their game and, based on triples and a greater choral game, they were able to chain a 22-5 run in that period that put their victory on track at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dabi.

The United States team will debut against New Zealand next Saturday, August 26 at 8:40 am.
