The Mexican state of Jalisco, in which violence prevails, has been the scene of terrorist attacks carried out by organized crime, which were attributed to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), however, this criminal group has not only denied being responsible, it has also made important accusations against the entity’s governor.

Through a video in which several armed men with their faces covered appear, the hitmen claimed they had nothing to do with the attack happened in Tlajomulco. In addition, They said that Governor Enrique Alfaro is related to a rival cartel and they blamed him for the dozens of graves that have appeared in the state in recent months. The recording was shared on social media.

In the video you can see a man accompanied by eight heavily armed hitmen, the subject says that through this statement he addresses the population of Jalisco and separates himself (the CJNG) from the attack that occurred in Tlajomulco, after asking that they look for the culprits, he points out: “Ask Governor Enrique Alfaro, because he should know very well about it, since he is the most interested in this, because he has a commitment to other cartels.”

He goes on to say that the graves are laid by them (the state government) and that in the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) there are more deaths so that it continues to make more clandestine burial places. He adds that the CJNG has hindered the current administration and stresses that they do not do that, since they are there to protect, serve and help the citizenry.

The attempt

It was on July 11 when an attack with mines was carried out against elements of the Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office and Tlajomulco police, which left a balance of six dead and 15 injuredincluding civilians, according to the weekly Proceso.

An official from the municipality of Tlajomulco, Carmen Vázquez, who claims to have received the calls that led to the elements going to the point where the explosion was recorded, told the newspaper El Universal that the CJNG might not be behind the attack on July 11.

He even asserts that after filing his complaint with the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office, he provided evidence to open a new line of investigation. It should be remembered that Due to this attack, the searches for disappeared persons derived from anonymous denunciations were suspended.the source that has been crucial in finding clandestine graves, which sparked a protest from people-seeking groups.
