As the immigration crisis continues to rage, unscrupulous individuals who view those trying to reach the US as merchandise are operating with impunity. Five migrants were recently abandoned by a supposed “guide” in Baja California, all were rescued and that event was videotaped.
Among the group there was a child under the age of four who already presented a picture of dehydration, the migrants were from Colombia and Peru, according to the weekly Proceso. The rescue took place in the mountainous area of La Rumorosa, in the Mexican state of Baja California, and apparently they were trying to cross into the US through that area.
The report was made by authorities of the National Institute of Migration (INM), who indicated that people no longer had water or food. According to the data, the Tijuana Beta Group and INM personnel in Tecate located the people in a rocky canyon, after 15 hours of searching on a mountain.

The INM report indicates that, since 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, the entity’s Command, Control, Communications, and Computing Center (C-4) recorded the loss of migrants. Site tours were conducted, but there were no favorable results.
Using binoculars and a search on foot, they located the first two migrants, aged 20 and 26, in the rocky area, “who They commented that they were from Colombia and had been lost the night before.when their ‘guide’ abandoned them, so they decided to go out and walk to find a signal that would allow them to request help via cell phone”.
After hydrating them with water and serum, the authorities continued the search with one of them, who turned out to be the father of the missing family, as It was necessary to find a 22-year-old woman and a 4-year-old child.
The man reported that his son had begun to show signs of dehydration; after descending through areas of difficult access, they found them at 8:30 p.m., in the middle of a canyon with large rocks in the mountainous area.
In said group there was also a 30-year-old boy from Peru, who thanked through tears -sitting on a stone- for having been rescued.
