Monaco captain Wissam Ben Yedder is being investigated along with his brother for an alleged case of sexual abuse

French international footballer Wissam Ben Yeddercaptain of AS Monaco, is being investigated along with his brother for an alleged violation, according to the public broadcaster France Info.

Ben Yedder, who played for Sevilla between 2016 and 2019and his brother have been accused by two women of 19 and 20 years of force them to perform certain sexual acts during the night of last Monday in Beausoleil, a small French town located next to Monaco.

The investigation has fallen to the Nice Prosecutor’s Office (south-east), which has confirmed the opening of two investigations, one against the 32-year-old soccer player and another against an unidentified person.

But the public media ensures that it has been able to confirm that it is the younger brother of the star striker of the Monegasque club, who has been international with France on 19 occasions.

AS Monaco issued a statement last night stating that is aware of the information about his player and that, as it is a case submitted to “a judicial proceeding, The club cannot comment.”
