Shakira and Camila Cabello will be the artists recognized as Change Agents during the Premios Juventud 2023 ceremony, which will be held on July 20 in Puerto Rico, hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, Ángela Aguilar, Dayanara Torres and Marcus Ornellas.
The Colombian has been committed to great altruistic work for more than two decades since the creation of the Pies Descalzos Foundation, which focuses on education for children, nutrition and the arts. In addition, she has been one of the main promoters of female empowerment.
Although at first the foundation focused on places where access to education and care for infants was scarce, over time it has involved more elements of society, supporting parents and teachers, as well as generating jobs in the communities where the schools are located.
On the other hand, Shakira is one of the artists with the most nominations at Premios Juventud 2023 with a total of nine, like Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Maluma, Featherweight, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía and Tini.
Camila Babello will be recognized for her work with young people
Besides Camila Cabello will also receive Change Agent recognition for her commitment to youth development around the world.committing herself to different causes that have made her an inspiration to millions of people.
The Cuban-Mexican woman is known for supporting many philanthropic associations and those were the reasons for giving her this award.
