The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unveil their new projects for Netflix

According to The Wall Street Journal, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle presented to Netflix executives the proposal for a series titled “Bad manners”, which would be a “spin-off” of the novel “Great expectations”.

After it became known that Meghan Markle he will no longer do another season of his podcast Archetypes with platform SpotifyNow she and her husband prince harrythey would have presented Netflix proposals for various programs and series in which they would act as producers.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the first of the new projects of the dukes of sussex in that company it would be “Bad manners”a series like spin-off from the novel of Charles Dickens “Great expectations”, which would focus on the character of Miss Havisham. Another program would be in the same line of the successful show “Emily in Paris”only that the protagonist would be a man.

Although the project for a series for children -entitled “Pearl”– which Markle proposed was canceled last month, the documentary about the Invictus Games (an event created by the prince) is still on. The deal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed with Netflix (rumored to be for $100 million) resulted in the documentary “Harry & Meghan”which premiered in December 2022. In this six-episode series they narrate what their life is like in the United States after renouncing to be active members of British royalty.
