Price of the dollar today June 23 in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela

It seems that the dollar is not going to end the week on the right foot, today it is falling against several of its emerging peers. But in Mexico, although the day began in red at a price of 17.14, at this time the trend turns positive and is trading at 17.18 pesos per dollar. For the purchase and sale, the maximum and minimum is at 17.17 pesos and 17.19 pesos per dollar unit, respectively.

Yesterday there was news about Mexico’s monetary policy and as expected there were no changes: the referential interest rate was maintained. However, today the markets remain nervous about the possibility of a recession and the Fed continues to point to an increase in interest rates.

In Honduras, the dollar shows no movement this morning. The exchange rate is 24.72 lempiras per dollar unit, while the average for buying and selling is 24.53 and 24.91 lempiras per greenback, respectively.

In Nicaragua, the market is positive, although it is trading lower than yesterday. Today the average price is 36.54 córdobas per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale, the average remains the same as the previous day between 36.15 and 36.94 córdobas per dollar.

In Costa Rica, the dollar appreciates and today it is trading at 541.23 colones per unit of greenback. The movement is slight but the trend remains positive, and for buying and selling the price ranges between 528.34 and 554.11 colones per dollar.

In Dominican Republic the price of the dollar continues without much movement although this Friday it shows a downward trend. The price is 54.90 pesos per dollar unit and the average for buying and selling remains the same as yesterday’s session between 54.70 dop and 55.10 Dominican pesos per dollar unit.

The dollar in Venezuela also shows a decline and is trading at 27.26 bolivars per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale, the average is 27.23 and 27.30 bolivars per dollar, respectively.
