In a fact that perplexed society, the Tabasco attorney general’s office arrested Edi “N”, accused of beating two puppies to death in a town in southern Mexicosupposedly as revenge against his ex, who left him just because of his high level of aggressiveness.
According to local media, Edi “N” would have assaulted whoever his sentimental partner was, and later, in an act of retaliation against her, he beat a couple of canines to deathowned by the woman.
Thus, “Rocko” and “Blanquita” were victims of this subject’s angerwho decided to take revenge in this way by not being able to take his ex-girlfriend, owner of the dogs, by force.

Edi “N” was located and detained to be presented before the Control Judge of Judicial Region Nine, where his legal situation will be resolved.
“In the meantime, this institution will reinforce the investigative work so that a sentence is achieved in accordance with the law and the reparation of the damage in favor of the victim is achieved,” warned the state prosecutor’s office.
It should be noted that Since 2019, the reform of the Penal Code that typifies mistreatment or cruelty against animals has been in force in Tabasco.
This indicates that, if the acts of mistreatment or cruelty cause the death of the animal, a penalty of one to three years in prison and a fine of 200 to 400 days will be imposed.
This event occurs less than a month after it shocked the country, after a man had an altercation between a merchant and a person who allegedly threatened him with a knife. Upon leaving the premises, the suspect took one of the dogs that was on the public road and threw it into the boiling oil container.
