The same way, one of Louise McVicker’s grandchildren, assured that his grandmother’s feat had not ended and that it would have its outcome with a beautiful story in Arizona when he meets Torey Lovullocurrent manager of the Diamondbacks.

Well it turns out that the coach was hosted by his grandparents in the 80s and now his grandmother will have the opportunity to meet him again and throwing out the first pitch for the team his family is a fan of.

The 92-year-old woman’s husband also wanted to emulate this feat, it was a dream for him but unfortunately he passed away 20 years ago. Now Louis McVicker feels that he has fulfilled the dream for both of them.

Without a doubt, this is another of the great anecdotes that baseball leaves us this season, and those stories that show that for many, the sport goes beyond a competition and ends up becoming a lifestyle.
