In Mexico City, there were moments of terror on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 20, as a shootout broke out at the Central de Autobuses del Sur that claimed the lives of two alleged assailants and left two guards injured, as well as a woman. who was on the site. The journalist Luis Gabriel Velázquez, through his Twitter profile, shared a clip of approximately 21 seconds where the moment in which the exchange of shots between the uniformed men and the aggressors was observed. Witnesses described the incident as “something horrible”.

A man gave a testimony to different media summarizing very well what happened, angrily replied to the reporters that he did not know who they had been, because they ran to get safe “suddenly we heard several tacatatacataca, two explosions and we all ran”. He reported that they entered the bathrooms and stores. “It seemed like a war, the windows were shaking, the whole world was shaking.”
He added that everyone was running, children, ladies with canes, “everyone was running to save us, my God, thank you that we are all well ”. He said that it was something horrendous, because they would never have expected that such ugly things lived in the middle of the City or central.
After the shooting at the site, elements of the National Guard and police from the capital arrived; Bus trips were suspended for several hours, until little by little normality returned, as always happens after acts of violence.
