A group of looters destroyed a McDonald’s restaurant in Leimert Park in South Los Angeles on Tuesday night.which caused moments of panic among the clients and workers who were in the place.
The incident, caught on video, occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the restaurant located in the 4200 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, near West 43rd Streetsite where Los Angeles Police Department officers went after receiving reports of gunshots.
The recording shows the group, apparently made up mostly of teenagers, as they invade the fast food business and the terrified employees go to a back room for cover.

A glass showcase was knocked over and smashed, while the place was invaded by screams from visitors and employees.
In a moment, one of the youths snatched up a cash register and ran it outside the restaurant.
On the street, another subject threw the cash register on the ground to open itand several people approached to take the cash.
So far it is not clear the reason why the violent looting and vandalism began inside the fast food restaurant.
“We are deeply concerned by this incident. The safety of employees and customers is my top priority, and we are focused on supporting our restaurant team as we continue to support local law enforcement in their investigation,” McDonald’s restaurant owner Tony Lardas said in a statement.
The owner confirmed that employees who were in the business at the time of the looting were offered time off.
The Los Angeles Police Department said a man was arrested for robbery in the area where the McDonald’s is located, but It was not confirmed if the suspect had any connection to the incident at the fast food restaurant..
