Gunman dies in confrontation with police in Colorado

A man of approximately 39 years of age was shot by the Windsor police, in Colorado, after the neighbors made calls for help to 911, reporting to an individual with apparent suicidal behavior and possibly intoxicated He was aggressive and was armed with a shotgun.

When police responded to the call, on Sunflower Drive, they met an armed man who, far from being cooperative with the agents, started shooting at them.

The man fired at least three times before the agents responded to the attack and activate their weapons in the face of imminent danger.

After the incident, the assailant was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The county Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet identified the deceased man.

Meanwhile, the local Police Department reported that the investigation is still ongoing.

This event comes almost a week after a similar incident in Greeley County, where a 35-year-old suspect died after a confrontation with the SWAT team. of the county, after entrenched in his garage, he fired non-stop at the agents.
