Greg Hardy has not had a good start in boxing. This time the former NFL player was knocked out again and impressively by Alexander Flores in Team Combat League, performed at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
In his presentation at the boxing promotion, the former UFC fighter neglected his defense and received a hard left blow that sent him to the canvas in the 17th round. After getting to his feet, Hardy managed to corner his opponent against the ropes. and plugged it in, but Flores, in the counterattack, once again hit him with a hand that knocked the ex-wrestler down and the referee stopped the fight.
After the hard result, Greg Hardy posted a message on his Instagram where he admitted that he had made a mistake in the fight and paid dearly for the mistake. In addition, he asked sports fans to better enjoy “his progress in boxing” before criticizing him.
“2-0, I have no excuses, but you they should end that hate because my progress is constantly increasing and you’ll have to keep watching, you better enjoy. The journey to the top begins with Tom and all those who criticize me could not do half of what I did after I retired from being the best at what I was in the NFL, ”he wrote on the social network.
Greg Hardy is a former UFC fighter and former NFL player. In his time in combat sports, the American has a record of 7 wins and 5 losses. Leaving the company led by Dana White in 2022, the heavyweight signed a contract with Bare Knuckle and in his February debut he was also knocked out. The athlete now adds a new setback in his career, this time in Team Combat League, also on the fast track.
