During the recent week the Venezuelan Maite Delgado surprised the audience of ‘La Mesa Caliente’ as a guest host of the Telemundo program.

Delgado, well known for having presented for many years the ‘Miss Venezuela’, the most important beauty pageant in her country, wowed the audience of the show from which Alix Aspe recently exited.

Maite spent a week substituting for Myrka Dellanos, who was on vacation, but on Friday he said goodbye to his participation in the Telemundo show.

To say goodbye with some humor, Maite Delgado and Giselle Blondet pretended to be finalists in a beauty contest, each representing their countries of origin Venezuela and Puerto Rico. At the end of the dynamic Blondet won and her prize was to stay in ‘La Mesa Caliente’.

When the video was published on the Venezuelan Instagram, her fans and those of the program expressed their admiration for the work that Maite did for five days and even thought that the Venezuelan should be one of the permanent hosts of that space.

“They should open a vacancy for you at the Hot Table. Once again, you exuded talent, beauty and great empathy with the people who watch the program. You are number 1″; “The number 1 entertainer in the Spanish-speaking media. The most loved and respected; class, elegance and distinction of her the seal of her ”; “Maite is tremendously phenomenal!! Incredibly spectacular”; “Telemundo should not let Maite Delgado go, she attracts an audience, I love it, I hope they let her” and “You deserve a program so that you continue to give freshness, fun and a beautiful talent”, can be read in the comments of Delgado’s publication.

On the program’s Instagram profile they also uploaded a clip in which the hosts Verónica Bastos, Giselle Blondet and Aylín Mujica are seen -who entered after the departure of Alix Aspe-, accompanied by Maite Delgado.

The Venezuelan thanked Telemundo for the opportunity for a week and spoke about the Hispanic community in the United States, making the audience feel identified and express their support for her professionalism, charisma, and sensitivity.
