He Jalisco New Generation cartel (CJNG) is behind the disappearance of eight young people who worked in a call center in Zapopan, Jalisco, from where they offered in a wayto fraudulent timeshares to foreignersaccording to reports from the Mexican authorities.

According to the newspaper Milenio, the modus operandi from the call center was fraudulently offering timeshares to foreigners, especially Americans and Canadians, to those who demanded payment in advance and then did not comply with what was offered.

The resources obtained were destined for the operators of the criminal group CJNG, according to what was published by the aforementioned Mexican newspaper, which cites official sources.

Eight young people disappear from call center

The case has come to light after the mysterious disappearance of eight young people who worked in a call center, located in the municipality of Zapopan. It is presumed that the CJNG raised them, after an alleged leak of information about the illegal and fraudulent activities that were carried out in said place..

The disappearances of the young people were registered between May 20 and 22according to reports from the Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office.

the missing youth

The missing youth are the siblings Itzel Abigail and Carlos David Valladolid, charles benjamin Caves, Arthur Robles, Jesus Alfredo Salazar, Mayra Karina, Jorge Miguel Velazquez and Juan Antoniowho was the eighth to disappear.

They all disappeared on their way to work at the Zapopan call center. Relatives and friends have demonstrated to find the whereabouts of the young workers.

They locate bags with human remains

In recent days, the Jalisco prosecutor’s office indicated that it located 50 bags with human remains in a ravine in Zapopan, some of which coincide “with the physical characteristics of some of the young people” who disappeared from a call center, but forensic examinations are awaited to confirm it.

The authorities have met with the families of the disappeared young people and they were informed of the discovery of the human remains in a ravine in the Mirador Escondido neighborhood.

“At said meeting they were informed about the findings… in the Mirador Escondido neighborhood in Zapopan, regarding indications of unidentified deceased persons, who according to preliminary information coincided with the physical characteristics of some of the young people sought.” highlighted the Jalisco prosecutor’s office in a statement.
