Actor Héctor Parra was sentenced on Thursday, May 25, to 10 years and six months in prison for the crime of corruption of minors aggravated against his youngest daughter, Alexa Parra Hoffman, reported the young woman’s defense.

The sentence was given during the hearing to identify the sanctions and repair the damage that took place in the Reclusorio Oriente in Mexico City, where the actor will serve his sentence.

According to the statement from Alexa’s lawyer, Olivia Rubio, “The judge of the Accusatory Procedural System of Mexico City, sentenced Héctor N to 10 years and 6 months in prison for the aggravated crime of corruption of minors committed against the APH victim, known as Alexa.”

“We know that this sentence is not an end point, and that there is still a long way to go to achieve full reparation for the damage and claim Alexa’s life”added in the document.

Rubio asked the authorities “guarantee effective compliance with the sentence and provide the necessary protection measures to safeguard the physical and emotional integrity of Alexa and her family.”

Héctor Parra must pay compensation to his daughter

Samara Ávila, the actor’s legal representative, confirmed the information released by the accusing party.

“Mr. Héctor is being sentenced for the crime of corruption of minors, Unfortunately, at the discretion of this first instance, who is a judge we respect and with whom we carry out this entire criminal process, is imposing a minimum penalty of 10 years with 6 months “he informed the press on the outskirts of the prison.

It also revealed that Parra will have to pay his daughter Alexa as damage repair: “There is a concept of damage repair as well, in terms of an approximate amount, between both concepts, of 200 thousand Mexican pesos ($11,213 dollars)”.

When did the process against Parra begin?

In August 2020, Alexa Hoffman assured that Héctor Parra touched her improperly between the ages of 6 and 14, affirming that she, being a girl, did not have the conscience to identify what was happening.

The artist denounced defamation against him by Ginny Hoffman, Alexa’s mother. Parra assured that the statements had been made to “tarnish her image and her career,” for which reason her youngest daughter had allegedly been manipulated for several years against her.

On June 15, 2021, the actor was arrested and taken by the authorities to the Reclusorio Oriente, where he received a 10-year prison sentence on May 25, 2023.
