The Mexican soccer title is at stake. Tigres de la UANL and Chivas de Guadalajara reached the final of the Clausura 2023 against all odds. With the title almost in their hands, the pressure is much greater and it was demonstrated in the first game: a goalless equality that unleashed the frustration of Víctor Guzmán against the fourth official.
The action was generated in the 74th minute of the game. Víctor Guzmán was replaced by Alejandro Mayorga. However, “Pocho” left the field annoyed and had a run-in with the fourth official.
Víctor Guzmán’s annoyance was captured on video. The Chivas de Guadalajara soccer player had to be controlled by assistants and members of the Rebaño Sagrado coaching staff. The reasons for Pocho’s anger are unknown, as are the reasons why he they did not penalize the conduct of the rojiblanco forward with any card.

One of the possible reasons for the exaggerated reaction of the Chivas striker may be related with the offensive performance of his team at the University Stadium. The Sacred Flock only kicked once on goal during the entire match, a poor presentation in which the responsibility falls between midfielders and forwards.
When will the Liga MX final return?
With the goalless draw, nothing is decided regarding the next Liga MX champion. Tigres de la UANL missed a great opportunity to take advantage in their stadium. This Sunday, May 28, Chivas de Guadalajara will be local at the Akron Stadium in the last game of the Clausura 2023. The Sacred Flock expects to have the same fortune as in 2017 and keep the Mexican soccer trophy against all odds.
