How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a draw that gives Powerball players a second chance. You can reuse your Powerball numbers in a separate draw with a maximum cash prize of $10 million.
To play, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket and you will only have to pay an additional $1 per play.
Additionally, Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature can win prizes in both draws.
How do you get your prize?
As with Powerball, Double Play prizes must be claimed in the state where the winning ticket was purchased. Players in general can claim a prize of up to $600 dollars at any place authorized to sell lottery in the geographic location where they purchased the ticket.
Prizes in excess of $600 may be claimed at the main lottery location in each case. However, there are also some authorized establishments, which you can quickly find out as appropriate.
You will have 90 days to one year to collect your prize, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually on the back of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
