Suspects in high-speed pursuit surrender after entrenching themselves in South Los Angeles

A group of suspects surrendered after barricading themselves in a residence after provoking a high-speed chase. Tuesday night in Los Angeles County.

According to the authorities, five subjects were riding in the vehicle during the pursuit by the California Highway Patrol (CHP)because the car did not have license plates.

By the time the authorities imposed a traffic stop on them, the suspects refused to cooperate and fled, leading to pursuit.

During the attempt to escape from the patrols, the suspect vehicle reached speeds of up to 125 miles per hour in the middle of the traffic of several highways.

The vehicle eventually exited the 110 Freeway near Gage Avenue in South Los Angeles.

The car stopped near the intersection of W 61st Street and South Grand Avenueand the five occupants got out of the vehicle and ran toward the backyard gate of a neighborhood residence.

The group of suspects barricaded themselves inside the residence, but After a few minutes, the five subjects turned themselves in to the authorities, who were outside the residence..

So far, the relationship of the suspects with the residence in which they remained entrenched is unknown.
