A drawing made by a Russian minor against the war in Ukraine began a persecution against his father who in the end it led to his being sentenced to two years in prison.

According to AP, this Tuesday, a Russian court sentenced Alexei Moskalyov to two years in prisona single father, a case that started after his daughter’s school drawing opposed the invasionaccording to his lawyer and activists, and that he continued with some posts on the father’s social networks.

His 13-year-old daughter María, who has lived in an orphanage since the case against her father beganwrote him a letter of support for his trial, according to his lawyer, telling him: “Dad, you are my hero.”

Moskalyov, 54 years old, was accused of repeatedly discrediting the Russian military for a series of posts on social media about Russian atrocities in Ukraine and in which he made reference to the “terrorist” regime in Moscow, which he insists he did not do.
