7 Dead in Nashville, Tennessee School Shooting, Including Female Shooter

Nashville authorities confirmed the death of 6 victims plus the woman who entered the Covenant School to shootlocated on Burton Hills Boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee.

“In total six victims, three students and three adult school staff members killed, the shooter is victim number sevenNashville Police Department spokesman Don Aaron said.

UPDATE: 3 students & 3 adult staff members from Covenant School were fatally shot by the active shooter, who has now been identified as a 28-year-old Nashville woman.

In a brief press conference, the authorities specified that the attacker identified as a young woman of approximately 28 years of age, who He was carrying two assault rifles and a pistol.went up to the second floor of the school to commit his crimes.

“There is video from the school that we are reviewing to try to pin down how it all played out.. As you know 5 of the six victims were transported. At the top of the school it’s like a room, it’s not a classroom as such,” Don Aaron said.

The spokesman for the Nashville Police Department said that the officers’ response was “quick” after accessing the second floor of the school and where two officers opened fire in response to the attacks committed by the young woman.

“We are currently trying to identify it.“said Don Aaron, who commented that it is still unknown if the attacker had any connection to the school.

Aaron explained that on a normal day there are usually about 209 students in that educational center, which has more than 40 workers.

According to the first reports, the events occurred around 10:13 in the morning, local timeand 14 minutes later, at 10:27 a.m., the police responded to the death of the shooter.
