Turco Mohamed did not assure that he will be there for the match against the Gallos del Querétaro at the La Corregidora stadium next April 2. So his debut could come for the next date.

The cats have four losses in their last 5 games and are in 16th place in the Clausura Tournament table with 11 points in 12 dates.

“I feel good, calm down, I’ll talk later” And when they questioned him if at any point he was offered to lead Tigres, he said “no, no, I’m Rayado.”

The next 4 games for the Pumas are against: Querétaro on April 2 as a visitor, at home they will host Atlético San Luis on April 9, at home they will host Toluca and then they will play as a visitor against América on April 22.

The Argentine coach comes from directing Atlético Mineiro in the Brasileirao where he had a record of 28 wins, 15 draws and losses. The last time he coached in Mexico was with the Rayados de Monterrey in 2020.

With Monterrey he was champion of the Apertura Tournament in 2020 and with Atlético Mineiro he was also champion of the Brazilian Super Cup.

Mohamed could seek his fourth title in Mexico with four different teams after being champion with Xolos in the Apertura 2012, América in the Apertura 2014 and Rayados in the Apertura 2019.
