The Municipal Police of Madrid has detained this Monday an employee of the Eurostars Madrid Tower hotel accused of posting on his Instagram profile cracist comments against the Moroccan soccer teamwho is staying at said establishment, police sources have informed EFE.

This is a 27-year-old worker of Spanish nationality who allegedly wrote, among other comments, the following insults: “The Morocco team at the Towers, you are a ball player. Damn fucking morons. I shit on Ramadan and on their fucking dead.

The Moroccan team is staying at the aforementioned hotel as it will face Peru in a friendly match this Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. at the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium in the capital.

The employee attached several images in which members of the Moroccan expedition appeared in the hotel dining room and protested, according to another publication, for being “serving Ramadan bullshit and their fucking bullshit beliefs.”

Those responsible for the Eurostars Madrid Tower were the ones who reported the events to the Municipal Police of Madrid given the great commotion that the situation had generated, also in the Moroccan press.

Around 12:00 a.m. this Monday, agents of the Municipal Police went to the Eurostars Madrid Tower, located in the Cuatro Torres business park, to arrest the author of the comments of a racist nature, who is charged with a hate crime.

The arrested man is now in the National Police premises awaiting his release to justice.

Morocco defeated five-time champion Brazil in a friendly duel on March 24 with a score of 2-1 in Tangier. The match was finally not very friendly and the Brazilians ended up losing in their first post-Tité match and in which they also wore jackets in honor of “O Rei Pelé”.

Morocco took the lead in the 29th minute through Boufal, Brazil later equalized thanks to a shot from Casemiro that slipped into Bono’s arms. However, Morocco never gave up and Sabiri put the final 2-1 ten minutes from the end and delighted an audience that shouted “olé” at home.
