The 4-2 defeat of Chivas de Guadalajara against the Águilas del América was a cold water bath for the Sacred Flock. In addition, the celebration of Henry Martín in which he made the Chivas goal urinate upset the fans and former players of the club who do not forget the gesture.

Joel ‘Shark’ Sánchez, legend of the Sacred Flockexplained that the Chivas players should have recriminated the gesture and raised their voices in the game.

“The least guilty was the one who made the celebration (Henry Martin), I will not name him, but if you give rise to being urinated on, well, what are you complaining about, if someone urinates on me in my house, they leave without an arm, without an eyesomething tore him out, I’m talking about my house, I don’t play anymore, but before my house was the Jalisco stadium and someone who disrespects you is something delicate, I would not allow it to end soon, ”said Sánchez.

Joel Sánchez Ramos was a Mexican defender who played for several Liga MX clubs and even wore both the Chivas and América jerseys. Although the club that defended the most times was Chivas with 234 games, 27 goals and won the Clausura Tournament with the Sacred Flock in the 1997 Clausura Tournament.

“If you are disrespected, you don’t have to expose yourself to a punishment of seven or eight games, but on some occasion I had to go and get a rival out of the dressing room and I had more friction with teammates than with rivals”, pointed out the former player.

Cuauhtémoc Blanco, the creator of the controversial celebration that Henry Martín now imitated, downplayed the attacks and even thanked the cream-blue striker.

“Thank you (Henry Martín) for making those festivities, the truth makes me very excited to remember them because they are very cool moments for us as players and then in a Clásico”, said the legend of the Eagles in an interview with Record.
