Brandon Moreno He is undoubtedly one of the most admired athletes in Mexico today, he is also, along with Alexa Grasso and Pantera Rodríguez, one of the three UFC champions that the Aztec country has at the present time.

In an exclusive interview with Azteca Deportes, Brandon Moreno assured that he had the dream of dabbling in boxing and having a step like this be very brief. I love boxing, I don’t take my finger off the line that I do, just to get rid of the tickle, ”he said.

“I just want to get rid of the tickle and, for example, Capetillo tells me ‘hey you have the level, I don’t know how high, but he tells me you have the level to compete, maybe one, two boxing fights and then bye bye bye“continued the UFC world champion.

It should be remembered that Jorge Capetillo, trainer of figures of the stature of Tyson Fury, joined Moreno’s work teamreason that makes one boast that the coach has helped improve the skills of “The Assassin Baby” as a boxer.

Moreno stressed that Mexicans were born to fight, which is why he has several idols in the history of Aztec boxing. “There are people I admire, I greatly admire what Julio César Chávez was for boxing, Barrera, Juan Manuel Márquez, Terrible Morales. I’m going for this group of fighters, I do have a lot of respect for them and I think they showed that Mexicans are made to fight“, he reiterated.

He also remembered 2018 as the year in which he began to practice boxing, and that the arrival of Jorge Capetillo has worked for him to improve and complement his technique.
