After the former president donald trump make it known that next Tuesday he will be arrestedthe Speaker of the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy announced a congressional investigation into local prosecutors known to be poised to indict the former president. for falsifying business records in connection with attorney payments Michael Cohen to “silence” the porn model Stormy Daniels in 2016.

Reports surfaced on Friday night that law enforcement agencies are bracing for fallout from impeachment against Trump next week.

After Trump’s incendiary message, Republican McCarthy used his social network Twitter to accuse the Manhattan district attorneyAlvin Bragg, of creating an “abuse of power scandal” and “pursuing political vendetta against the present Trump.”

“Here we go again: an outrageous abuse of power by a prosecutor radical letting violent criminals go free while they pursue political vendetta against President Trump,” McCarthy wrote.

He also added that he has called for an immediate investigation “I am ordering the relevant committees to immediately investigate whether federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.”

McCarthy’s criticisms were joined by those of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene who also used his social network to throw some darts “Republicans in Congress need to subpoena these communists and be done with it. We have the power to do it and we also have the power to define their salaries and departments. Enough of this.”

But who does not disagree with McCarthy is Michael Richard Beschlossa historian specializing in the US presidency, who in an annoyed tone regretted that McCarthy announced that he would order the Republican heads of the “relevant” House committees to interfere on Trump’s behalf.

It was during an interview with “The Saturday Show” that he said “he is interfering with the rule of law process; this is a duly elected district attorney in new york that we don’t even know what’s going to happen yet or what the grand jury is going to do. But the speaker of the House it has nothing to do with interfering in this processsiding with one side, the side of Donald Trump, and also saying that you will investigate the use of federal funds to interfere.”

He also added that It’s none of your business to get involved in Trump’s legal process. and reiterated that “we still don’t know what’s going to happen, so you have a former president calling for a protest that we now know could turn into violence, as happened on January 6, 2021.”
