Tom Sizemore, remembered for his role in 'Saving Private Ryan', has died

Tom Sizamorewho participated in the movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’ and who had a problem with drug addiction, has died at the age of 61, his representative announced.

It was revealed that the North American actor suffered from a brain aneurysm last February and was disconnected from the machine that helped him breathe.

His representative Charles Lake He stated, a few days earlier, that the doctors had concluded that no other procedure or treatment could be performed on the actor.

In the published statement it is detailed that: “With great sadness and pain I must announce that the actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (Tom Sizemore) He died while sleeping peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank (…) His brother Paul and his sons Jayden and Jagger They were by his side.”

Sizamore worked with major Hollywood stars, but his most memorable role was as a World War II US soldier in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 film Saving Private Ryan.

Sizamore was born in Detroit in 1961 and worked as an actor in New York in 1980, he had his first major role in the film ‘Born on the 4th of July’ in 1989, by Oliver Stone.

The actor had many complications for his addiction to drugs, including heroin and cocaine.

In 2003 he was sentenced to prison for assaulting his girlfriend from that moment, spending eight months in a cell.

Again, drugs were his main and constant problem with the law, which is why he had a new prison sentence.

Despite these problems, he continued working and was in series like: “Hawaii Five-0” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.

In 2017, he was accused of abusing an 11-year-old actress during the filming of ‘Piggy Banks’ in 2003, for which he was temporarily expelled from the set. The actor returned to filming after the girl’s parents decided not to press charges.
